If you wish, you can book our newly built Chalet “Silvester” on the Alpe di Siusi – with its perfectly quiet location, it offers the best conditions to fully relax and recharge your batteries for your often hectic everyday life. The alpine hut is located at an altitude of 1,750 meters in the unique nature reserve Alpe di Siusi – It is ideal for your holiday in the mountains of South Tyrol. In winter, our alpine hut is right on the ski slope, close to the cross-country ski trail, many hiking paths and a toboggan run, while in summer you are particularly close to the sun. In winter, the area around our Chalet “Silvester” is ideal for skiers, snowboarders, cross-country skiers, toboggan fans, hikers or for walking. Furthermore, the ski hut offers every comfort. Also, in summer you may go hiking, walking or exploring the Alpe di Siusi on a mountain bike or e-bike, starting from the alpine hut: Or perhaps you just wish to enjoy the fresh alpine air in peace and quiet?

Our NEWLY built Chalet “Silvester” can be reached by car, in winter with snow tires and snow chains or 4x4.

The ski hut is furnished for 8 persons and offers a bedroom with double bunk beds on the ground floor, living room with couch, satellite TV, kitchenette and dining area, shower and toilet, large, as well as a comfortable terrace with table and chairs. Electricity and heating are already included in the booking price.

The kitchen of the alpine hut is equipped as follows: crockery and pans, cooking and eating utensils, electric hob, toaster, filter coffee machine, Nespresso machine, Mokka maker, kettle and refrigerator. There is free Wi-Fi throughout the hut. In the attic (approx. 1.70 m room height at the highest point), there are 1 double bed, 2 single beds and a toilet. In the basement of the alpine hut, you will find a washing machine, dryer, freezer, hiking and ski boot warmers and a ski rack. The alpine hut also offers a garage for one car, where you may even charge your e-car.

Bed linen, towels and kitchen towels are NOT provided. The bus stop is only a few minutes’ walk from the cabin. To perfectly round off the holiday experience, there is also a fresh bread delivery service.

What you should know
if you wish to rent
our hut on the Alpe di Siusi:

Special transit permit

In order to protect the nature reserve Alpe di Siusi from excessive traffic, there is a special law that regulates access. Guests who have booked their holiday on Alpe di Siusi will provided with the following special transit permit:

• You may drive up to the cabin at any time on your day of arrival on Alpe di Siusi and leave the cabin at any time on your day of departure.
• During your stay, you may drive your car on the route between Saltria and Compatsch before 10:00 a.m. and after 5:00 p.m.
• From 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. private traffic is prohibited on the Alpe di Siusi.
• Within this period you may travel by bus.
• You will receive the special transit permit upon arrival at the Alpe di Siusi tourist office (Infopoint St. Valentin, about 7 km before Compatsch, on the right-hand side of the road directly at the roundabout).
